Twine Metagame – Is the Murder a Mystery?

When I first began brainstorming for the metagame assignment, my goal was to create a plot-driven twine game that guided players along a specific path, and eventually to the multiple plot twists at the end. It was important to me to have a metagame that was interesting and immersive, so that people wouldn’t lose interest. This metagame attempts to make points about women’s roles in video games, developers’ tendencies to rework games too many times, and the unnecessary attention given to violence in video games.
